Spring is coming . . . and it's so exciting. This year with how crazy we've been, it's creeped up on me. I looked out my window and saw the Redbud trees just about to burst out in color and my forsythia already has some yellow blossoms and my daffodils are pushing out those green shoots all over the place. The air is soft and fragrant and the sun feels wonderful on your face.
I've turned over the soil in the garden (thank you rototiller) and planted peas, lettuce, beets, and radishes and some green onions. I've trimmed the herb garden and weeded (already?!) most of our beds.
I sat in the sun for an hour today (with sunscreen on) and felt neither warm nor cold, but just perfect.
Oh, Spring, I love you.

Planting the seeds . ..
My very very naughty helper . . .
The garden . . .
The Forsythia about to (and a little bit) blooming . . .
But best of all . . . children out playing in the sun and warm (even though it's not really warm, it's just warm for march).
Let the days of outdoor living begin! Let the green take over and cover everything and make the world smell like flowers and growing things.
